Hi! I'm Melanie, 21 years old from Harderwijk, Netherlands. I recently moved to Curaçao to create the life I love, hopefully inspiring other people in the process. I started with photography about 6 years ago, when I inherited my very first camera after my grandma passed. I soon fell in love with capturing everything I saw, the small moments, the beauty in things, and the emotions that come with them.  With my work I hope to create long lasting memories others love looking back at, to show people the beauty of life. Whether it's the small moments or the big life events, I want you to enjoy looking back at those memories.

Besides photographing life events, I also love building confidence and body positivity through boudoir photography. I therefore took on the challenge to set up a concept like no other, hoping to show more people the power of self-love and how important it is to take good care of yourself.

Besides photography, I especially enjoy being creative. I enjoy reading, music, cooking and baking among other things, but I also love good food ;) I love nature, mostly animals, sunsets and the ocean, but also the smell of campfires and rain.

I have a dog (Kaya) still living in Netherlands, with whom I like to go for walks, and devour our weekly ice creams at our regular ice cream shop (love goes through the stomach, right?!). She's my go-to model to practice with and she loves the camera.

Furthermore, you always make me happy with ice cream, cake or smoothies, my favorite movie is still "the lion king" and I am addicted to the smell of zwitsal. A little less I like sports, spiders and heights.
